As Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead of a Barchester care home, you’ll support the delivery of the quality care we’re known for.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the delivery of quality care
  • work closely with the General Manager and take on leadership duties in their absence
  • help with ensuring care standards
  • motivate team
  • inspire a multidisciplinary team to help every resident enjoy the best possible quality of life
  • lead by example
  • monitor standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice and checking regulatory compliance
  • set the highest standards
  • develop and deliver strategies to achieve goals

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration
  • teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification
  • experience in helping residents with different health needs
  • successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments
  • HR experience
  • strong knowledge of sales and marketing
  • understanding of budget management
  • track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship
  • compassionate, resilient and determined to deliver quality care
