Registered Nurse (RN) – General Nurse preferred
Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse experience considered (Deputy experience not essential)
Strong experience working in care homes
Strong knowledge of care planning and medication management
Confident leader with excellent communication skills
Local to Walsall and able to travel for weekends
Honest, trustworthy, and driven
Comfortable working in a commissioning environment and willing to be hands-on

Job Responsibility

Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
Providing strong clinical leadership and oversight of care delivery
Working both supernumerary and on the floor, particularly during commissioning
Supporting the setup of the home and initial admissions
Managing care plans and medication administration
Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
Leading and supporting the care team to deliver high standards of care
Participating in the on-call rota alongside the manager
Working alternate weekends as required

Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager or equivalent Clinical Lead role, ideally within private hospitals or nursing home settings
Strong clinical background in elderly care and dementia nursing, with proven ability to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
Demonstrates a genuine passion for elderly care and commitment to clinical excellence
Confident leadership skills, with excellent communication, organisational, and team management capabilities
An empathetic and kind leader with strong emotional intelligence, able to support staff, foster a positive culture, and build trusting relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

Job Responsibility
