The DGM – Customer Relations & Direct Marketing will lead the interface with key defense customers and public sector shipyards, ensuring close coordination for project execution, business development, and timely communication. The role involves managing project communication, coordinating tender submissions, and maintaining strong customer relationships, while also keeping internal teams aligned with customer expectations and project milestones.
Job Responsibility:
Customer Engagement & Account Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for GRSE, HSL, CSL, GSL, MDL, Indian Navy, and Indian Coast Guard
Maintain strong working relationships with technical, commercial, and project teams at customer organizations
Participate in and organize regular project review meetings and ensure follow-ups are actioned
Project Progress Communication
Appraise customers through detailed Project Progress Reports and periodic Review Meetings
Coordinate with internal project, engineering, and production teams to remain updated on execution status
Ensure project milestones, risk mitigation plans, and delays (if any) are proactively communicated to customers
Internal Coordination
Liaise with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Quality teams to align internal actions with customer expectations
Ensure timely flow of information across departments to meet contractual and delivery commitments
Support internal escalation and resolution of issues affecting experience
