Job Description

We're looking for a dynamic Deputy Divisional Manager to play a key role in the effective delivery of the Urgent & Acute Directorate. Working closely with the Associate Director of Operations, you will use your specialist managerial skills to support delivery of the constitutional standards, as well as lead day to day operational management. In this influential role, you'll work with a range of MDT clinical colleagues and partners both in and outside of the organisation. You'll work alongside colleagues throughout the organisation, contributing to strategic planning, performance, and service improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a forward-thinking organisation focused on delivering outstanding care.

Requirements

  • Masters level degree or equivalent level of relevant management experience
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Significant relevant management experience
  • Knowledge of NHS direction and policy initiatives
  • Proven change management skills in a complex health care setting
  • Experience in budgetary and resource management
  • Knowledge, understanding and experience in Risk Management and Governance issues
  • Experience in managing complex organisational change projects
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent and robust interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive and self motivated, with the ability to motivate others
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high degree of autonomy
