We're looking for a dynamic Deputy Divisional Manager to play a key role in the effective delivery of clinical services across our Care Group. Working closely with the Deputy Associate Director of Operations, you will use your specialist managerial skills to support and strengthen clinical leadership, ensuring high-quality, well-managed services. In this influential role, you'll take the lead on several clinical service areas, drive operational excellence, and help shape the future direction of the Care Group. You'll work alongside senior leaders -- including the Associate Director, Deputy Associate Director, and Clinical Director -- contributing to strategic planning, performance, and service improvement. Job Responsibility:
Work with the Deputy Associate Director of Operations to ensure that the high-quality patient services meet Trust standards
Support delivery of performance targets, including waiting-time standards
Contribute to effective budget management and cost-improvement delivery
Maintain strong clinical quality and infection-control standards
Support clinicians to grow and innovate their services
Promote effective HR practice, staff development, and workforce planning
Strengthen communication and engagement across the Care Group
Drive continuous service improvement and lead key projects to completion
Requirements:
Masters level degree or equivalent level of relevant management experience
Evidence of ongoing professional development
Significant relevant management experience
Knowledge of NHS direction and policy initiatives
Proven change management skills in a complex health care setting
Experience in budgetary and resource management
Knowledge, understanding and experience in Risk Management and Governance issues
Experience in managing complex organisational change projects
Proven leadership skills
Excellent and robust interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive and self motivated, with the ability to motivate others
Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high degree of autonomy
Ability to prioritise own workload appropriately
Able to work as part of the multi-professional team
Flexible to meet service needs

Nice to have:
Post graduate qualification
Experience in capacity and service planning within an acute health care setting
