iCapital is hiring a Deputy Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Canada to join our Operations and Investment Product Management team. This strategic leadership role will drive regional execution, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and ensure alignment with global priorities. As part of a global COO framework, the Deputy COO will serve as the key operational link between Canada and our global teams, reporting directly to our Chief Operating Officer.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and coordinate operational initiatives across Canada
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and operational efficiencies across Canada teams and always proactively look for potential operational efficiencies and global best practices
  • Work closely with the Client Solutions and Product Structuring teams in key business development activities
  • Partner with senior leaders in the region, especially in Client Services, Investor Relations, Fund Finance, Reporting and Governance, and Tax teams
  • Ensure regional alignment with global strategy, standards, and priorities
  • Support change management, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Facilitate communication between regional teams and global operations leadership teams
  • Provide oversight and coordination for new initiatives and ongoing operational workstreams

Requirements:

  • 12+ years in operations, business management, or program leadership
  • Experience working across Canada markets are preferred
  • Background in financial services, consulting, or a similar complex environment
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills and well respected by senior stakeholders
  • Highly organized and execution-focused and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and delivery
