An opportunity has arisen in our kitchen team and we are looking for an experienced chef to join us as our Deputy Catering Manager at Bettys Cafe Tearooms in Harlow Carr. As a Deputy Catering Manager you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of Catering assistants/Chefs and Catering Team Leaders to prepare a full menu of delicious food and drinks as part of a deliciously magical experience for every customer. You will report to the Catering Manager and deputise for them in their absence.
Job Responsibility:

Deputising for the Catering Manager in their absence
Requirements:
Background of working in a busy kitchen producing the best quality dishes
Experience in managing and motivating a small team
Experience of food safety and health and safety procedures
Good communication skills
Ability to work well with others
Ideally previous experience of working to KPI’s such as food costs and labour budgets
