Deputy Care Manager

• Oversee the delivery of quality care services to consumers and ensure the unit always maintains regulatory compliance
• Work collaboratively with Clinical Nurse Specialist, Registered Nurses and Assistant Nurses in upholding clinical excellence
• Promote and drive a culture of continuous learning and development
• Advise on clinical issues
• Drive AN-ACC
• Promote best practice
• Assist with admissions
• Medication management
• Documentation
• Managing staff
• Assist the Executive Care Manager with rostering

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of accreditation standards and understanding of continuous improvement
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in AN-ACC
• Extensive experience supporting consumers living with dementia
• Previous experience managing staff
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Well-developed organisational skills
• Experience with rostering

Experience in palliative care will be highly regarded
