As Deputy Manager at Harbour Healthcare, you'll support the delivery of the quality care we're known for. Working closely with the Home Manager and taking on leadership duties in their absence, you can expect to help with everything from ensuring care standards to motivating your team. You'll inspire the team to make sure they help every resident to enjoy the best possible quality of life. That means leading by example and monitoring standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice and checking our regulatory compliance. You'll set the highest standards and draw on your skills to develop and deliver strategies that will help you achieve your goals.
Job Responsibility:
Support the delivery of quality care
Work closely with the Home Manager and take on leadership duties in their absence
Help with everything from ensuring care standards to motivating your team

Lead by example and monitor standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice and checking regulatory compliance
Set the highest standards and develop and deliver strategies to achieve goals
Monitoring standards of care delivered by all staff
Supporting the Home Manager with policy implementation and business objectives
Preparing staff rotas to ensure optimal staffing levels
Monitoring residents' wellbeing and ensuring care plans are up to date
Acting as a focal point for residents, families, and healthcare professionals, addressing concerns and ensuring high standards of care
Requirements:
Strong leadership skills with a highly motivated approach
Substantial experience working with dementia care
Experience in helping residents with different health needs
Successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments
Understanding of person centred care and positive behavioural support
Highly organised and detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal skills
