Our success is built on our people, their expertise and the exceptional service they deliver every day. We’re now looking for a Deputy Branch Manager to join our team in Willand. We are looking for someone who can support the Branch Manager, lead from the front and help drive performance across the branch. As Deputy Branch Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the branch. Working across all departments, you’ll help ensure everything runs smoothly while delivering great results for both customers and the business. You’ll support the Branch Manager in leading the team, maintaining a safe environment and driving sales and service standards. When needed, you’ll step up and take full responsibility for the branch, making sure everything continues to operate efficiently. Through supporting the day-to-day management of the branch, helping to deliver sales, profit and service targets, your key responsibilities will include: Leading and motivating the team to provide consistently excellent customer service; Promoting a strong health & safety culture and ensuring compliance across the branch; Handling customer queries and resolving issues quickly and professionally; Supporting operational processes, stock control and transport coordination to keep everything running smoothly. We’re looking someone who is confident, approachable, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering results. You’ll ideally bring: Experience in building materials; Experience supervising or managing a team; A strong focus on customer service and business performance; A good understanding of health & safety and company procedures and the importance of H&S in our industry; Good communication and interpersonal skills; The ability to stay organised and work under pressure; A positive, can-do attitude and a flexible approach.
