The Deputy/Assistant Team Manager assists the Team Manager to lead a team to provide the best possible care and support for people living within a supported housing or registered care service and enables people to stay healthy, be safe, and live well.
Job Responsibility:
Assist the Team Manager to lead a team to provide the best possible care and support for people living within a supported housing or registered care service
Collaborate with the Team Manager to ensure effective management and coordination of a high quality, person led service
Manage the shift rotas
Promote LDN London’s core values
Raise standards of support and service delivery
Requirements:
Experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Autism or PMLD (profound & multiple disabilities)
Good understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively
Ability to self-motivate and work independently
Computer literate
Working towards or holding a Social Care qualification or equivalent
Willing to work alternate weekends and shift patterns
Ability to build relationships and hold excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to develop strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Ability to use own initiative, problem solve and prioritise
Good planning and organisational skills
Positive, resilient attitude
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be flexible and adaptable
