Job Description:

The Deputy/Assistant Team Manager assists the Team Manager to lead a team to provide the best possible care and support for people living within a supported housing or registered care service and enables people to stay healthy, be safe, and live well.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the Team Manager to lead a team to provide the best possible care and support for people living within a supported housing or registered care service
  • Collaborate with the Team Manager to ensure effective management and coordination of a high quality, person led service
  • Manage the shift rotas

  • Raise standards of support and service delivery

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Autism or PMLD (profound & multiple disabilities)
  • Good understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently
  • Computer literate
  • Working towards or holding a Social Care qualification or equivalent
  • Willing to work alternate weekends and shift patterns
  • Ability to build relationships and hold excellent interpersonal skills
