Depot Operative

• Manage electronic pick orders to ensure accurate order fulfilment
• Select warehouse items based on specifications such as size, colour, quantity, and quality
• Verify order accuracy before processing for delivery
• Prepare and stage items appropriately for dispatch
• Operate handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Plan and oversee product storage, replenishment, and dispatch
• Monitor stock control systems to process specific orders efficiently
• Ensure warehouse targets and performance goals are achieved
• Maintain compliance with health and safety standards at all times
• Securely shrink-wrap products onto pallets for shipment
• Load delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
• Deliver goods to customer premises, ensuring accuracy and professionalism
• Assist driver operatives as needed
• Verify goods with customers and ensure documentation is completed accurately
• Pack warehouse orders as required to support team operations
• Utilise scanners to ensure accurate inventory management and order picking
• Perform general warehouse duties and other tasks as required

• Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and inventory management
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects safely
• Capability to remain standing and active for extended periods
• Positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative in completing tasks
• A strong focus on safety and adherence to workplace safety protocols
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and interacting with customers
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in warehouse operations is preferred but not required
