Wealth Global – Deposits, Custody & Sweeps Products is responsible for setting the global strategy, governance, and execution framework for the Wealth’s deposit, custody, and sweep product offerings. The team ensures global alignment, operational excellence, consistent product behaviours, and risk‑controlled delivery across all markets. The organisation is undertaking a multi‑year transformation focused on product simplification, operational efficiency, platform modernization, and strengthening the global control environment. Delivering this requires rigorous programme execution, strong regional alignment, and close collaboration with Technology, Operations, Risk & Control, and regional business leadership. The Deposit & Custody Senior Lead will work closely with the Global Product Head – Deposit & Custody to drive execution of global initiatives across Deposits, Custody & Sweeps. This role will lead strategic programmes, simplify product and process architecture, uplift controls, coordinate the global technology book of work, and strengthen cross‑regional collaboration.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure global control, operational, and product standards for Deposits, Custody & Sweeps are clearly defined and consistently implemented across regions
Partner with Risk & Control, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure strong control design, proactive issue identification, and high‑quality remediation
Support global governance routines spanning issue management, key risk indicators, process documentation, and testing frameworks
Provide insights, analysis, and decision support to the Global Product Head – Deposit & Custody on global priorities and strategic planning
Drive adoption of data‑driven, risk‑aware decision-making across global product management
Identify emerging risks, simplification opportunities, and areas where enhanced coordination or redesign can improve client outcomes
Lead global transformation initiatives across Deposits, Custody & Sweeps, including product simplification, modernisation of platforms, and process re‑engineering
Coordinate execution with stakeholders across Product, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and regional business teams
Support delivery of regulatory, operational, and strategic commitments tied to product quality, controls, and technology improvement
Act as the central coordination point across Americas, EMEA, and APAC, ensuring alignment and consistent execution
Lead global governance forums, ensuring transparency on milestones, risks, issues, and performance metrics
Promote a unified “One Global Product” mindset and facilitate collaboration across markets and functions
Drive alignment between the global technology book of work and product strategy, regulatory commitments, and operational priorities
Establish governance routines to improve transparency, prioritization, and dependency management across global delivery teams
Partner with Technology to enable timely delivery of critical enhancements, control improvements, and platform modernization initiatives
Requirements:
A good track record of experience in global financial services in product, transformation, COO, or risk/control leadership roles
Strong familiarity with deposits, custody, sweeps, or adjacent liquidity products is strongly preferred
Demonstrated expertise in operational controls, risk management, and governance frameworks
Experience coordinating global technology delivery portfolios and working closely with Technology leadership
Proven ability to lead cross‑regional stakeholders and manage execution across time zones
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Technology, or related fields preferred
Professional certifications (project management, risk management, operational excellence) are a plus
