Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Deployment Technician to join our team in Towson, Maryland, for a long-term contract position. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth deployment and setup of laptops while adhering to established procedures. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a background in desktop support who excel in both hardware and software troubleshooting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and configure 15-20 laptops daily, ensuring each device meets company standards
  • Follow detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) to complete deployment tasks effectively
  • Perform basic troubleshooting to resolve hardware-related issues during the setup process
  • Identify and address common software problems to ensure seamless functionality
  • Utilize deployment tools to streamline the imaging and installation process
  • Maintain accurate records of completed deployments and report progress to supervisors
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of deployment projects
  • Provide technical assistance and support as needed during the rollout process
  • Inspect and test devices to confirm proper operation before delivery
  • Adhere to deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet project goals

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with laptop deployment in a detail-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with basic hardware troubleshooting techniques
  • Knowledge of software troubleshooting methodologies
  • Ability to follow detailed SOPs and work efficiently under deadlines
