Job Description:

Valon is building the AI-native operating system for regulated finance, starting with mortgage servicing. We're hiring a Deployment Recruiter to help build the teams capable of pulling that off. Deployment is Valon’s tip of the spear. It’s how we take a $100B regulated industry, one full of brittle systems, legacy workflows, and zero tolerance for failure, and transform it from the inside out.

Job Responsibility:

  • Run high-precision, full-cycle searches aligned to Valon’s deployment playbook—tight role scoping tied to client timelines, sourcing strategy design, rigorous evaluation loops, and decisive closing
  • Source unconventional but on-target profiles across consulting, implementation, technical operations, and product/ops generalists—individuals who create structure in ambiguity and thrive in high-accountability environments
  • Design signal-rich evaluation systems that measure what Build–Operate–Transfer actually requires: structured judgment, systems thinking, client-facing rigor, technical depth, operational problem-solving, and the ability to learn fast under pressure
  • Drive the recruiting operating rhythm with Deployment leadership: clear weekly calibration, forecasted hiring plans tied to client milestones, ATS discipline, dashboards that expose risk early, and tight execution standards
  • Own and articulate the narrative. Communicate why ValonOS + embedded deployment teams dramatically derisk enterprise transformation—and why elite operators choose this environment over traditional consulting or tech roles
  • Engineer a candidate experience grounded in precision and trust. Thoughtful preparation, tight turnarounds, explicit expectations, proactive communication, and zero ambiguity
  • Use AI as a 10x force multiplier for sourcing, research, personalization, and pipeline analytics—with human judgment as the arbiter
  • Build the system for scale by creating reusable scorecards, structured rubrics, work samples, and closing playbooks that become the blueprint for deployment hiring across Valon’s future industries

Requirements:

  • 3+ years recruiting for consulting, implementation, forward deployment, product operations, or client-facing technical roles in complex or high-velocity environments
  • A craft-driven recruiter who builds structured rubrics, hunts for signal, and iterates processes based on what improves quality and speed
  • A compelling storyteller able to translate regulated complexity into clear, compelling narratives for candidates and internal partners
  • High agency and ownership. You lead kickoffs, set the operational cadence, drive alignment, surface risks early, and solve problems before they bottleneck delivery
  • Comfort with ambiguity and tight timelines. You operate well in searches where ideal profiles are rare, requirements evolve, and deadlines come from client commitments—not internal preference
  • Communicator with precision. Crisp writing, structured reasoning, clean documentation, and communication that builds immediate trust
  • Metrics-driven habits: visible goals, weekly reporting, response-time SLAs, dashboards that highlight risk, and a continuous improvement mindset
What we offer:
  • Impact: Your hires determine whether clients launch smoothly, whether ValonOS proves its value, and how quickly we unlock enterprise SaaS adoption
  • Innovation: You’ll recruit for a model that pairs an AI-native operating system with forward-deployed teams—treating implementation as a product, not a services afterthought
  • Talent density: Work with a small, elite recruiting org that partners directly with Deployment leadership. Ideas are pressure-tested, improved, and implemented
  • Growth: Build the hiring architecture for deployment roles as Valon expands into adjacent regulated industries
