As a Deployment Intern in Summer 2026, you’ll be part of a dynamic environment where collaboration, agility, and courage are central to everything we do. This 10-week internship is designed to immerse you in daily supply chain operations, challenge convention, and empower you to contribute to process improvement and operational excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Work alongside experienced deployment specialists and cross-functional teams to manage and optimize product movement throughout our supply chain network
Daily review and analysis of inventory levels, distribution plans, and event exceptions to ensure operational objectives of maximizing service and minimizing waste are met
Participate in decision-making processes for inventory movement, including prioritizing supply moves and adjusting dispatch plans as needed to respond to real-time capacity constraints
Understanding of the End-to-End (E2E) supply chain process, including how various departments interconnect and influence one another to drive efficiency and effectiveness in operations
Gain exposure to SAP system tool to build and optimize truckloads, streamline stock transfers, and analyze payload efficiency
Collaborate with Factory and Transportation teams to ensure timely production deployment and reduce future redeployment needs
Communicate regional inventory gaps and deployment challenges to stakeholders, advocating for transparency and continuous improvement
Support special projects focused on supply chain efficiency, sustainability, and service enhancements
Review current and short-term inventory projections and distribution plans to identify gaps
Analyze and resolve event exceptions impacting inventory, such as late releases or in-transit delays
Reconcile and confirm dispatch plans, making adjustments for redeployment, spoilage, rebalancing, or aging of stock
Build Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) and confirm inventory availability in alignment with cut-off times
Execute supply moves that maximize payload and service levels, researching root causes when targets are missed
Support process improvement initiatives, including tracking metrics, analyzing data, and benchmarking best practice
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
Graduation expected by June 2027 preferred
Prior coursework or hands-on experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations is strongly preferred, but not required
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Familiarity with SAP system is a plus
Ability to focus and thrive in a fast-paced environment with limited distractions
Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork skills
Self-starter with a passion for continuous improvement and customer service
Strong customer service mindset and desire to delight internal and external customers
