Job Description:

The Night Crew Department Manager is accountable for a team of 10-20 stockers who engages in various tasks such as freight handling, Store Operations cover, maintenance activities, and inventory preparation and counting. Job Responsibility:

  • Accountable for a team of 10-20 stockers
  • Stocking shelves, creating orders, and building displays
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory control and ensuring proper rotation of goods
  • Manages store operations such as key management along with loading and operating tills
  • Performs general maintenance duties on the building, grounds, cases, shelves, and vehicles
  • Required to shovel snow when necessary
  • Prepare, organize and count inventory

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school diploma and 2-3 years stocking and management experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and communication skills and ability to work with confidential information
  • Computer knowledge of Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedure
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and maintain a professional appearance
  • Ability to make independent decisions using good judgement within policy guidelines

  • Carrying out daily calls to key line stations & 3rd party bases to discuss current aircraft defects, aircraft operational status and planned night stop maintenance
  • Monitoring of Deferred Defects, Maintenance Actions and previous overnight maintenance activity to prevent Repair Interval Extension (RIE) process being invoked
  • Liaising with the Flight Ops & Base Maintenance Departments as to the serviceability and readiness state of the aircraft to maintain the daily flying programme
  • Co-ordination of Fleet Line Maintenance Activities worldwide through liaison with Engineers, Handling Agents, Flight Crews & Operations Duty Manager
  • Acting as the initial focal point for all engineering issues within the TUI Group for Line Maintenance, and directing the resolution of any AOG situations
  • Liaising with Part M on all technical and airworthiness queries between line stations and support departments
  • Liaising with Boeing and component OEMs on operational technical issues when required
  • Monitoring component removal history and invoking appropriate troubleshooting actions
  • Use of the MEL to optimise the maintenance plan
