Job Description

Due to increasing patient demand and continued service expansion, we are seeking experienced dentists to join our growing clinical team. Opportunities are available across our Minor Oral Surgery Service (MOSS) in Lancashire and our Out-of-Hours Emergency Dental Service in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians looking to diversify their working week, increase their income, and work within well-supported clinical environments with strong referral volumes and modern facilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide Minor Oral Surgery services within established NHS referral pathways
  • Surgical extractions and other minor oral surgery procedures
  • Managing referred patients within NHS clinical pathways
  • Maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical governance
  • Working independently within a supported clinical environment
  • Provide urgent and private dental care during evening and weekend emergency clinics
  • Providing urgent dental care, including pain relief, extractions, trauma and swelling management
  • Delivering private emergency treatment outside standard practice hours
  • Maintaining excellent clinical standards, record keeping, and infection control

Requirements

  • GDC-registered dentist
  • Demonstrable experience in Minor Oral Surgery, including surgical extractions
  • NHS MOSS experience preferred (or strong private surgical background)
  • Current NHS performer number
  • Valid professional indemnity cover
  • Up-to-date compliance documentation (DBS, Hepatitis B, safeguarding training, CPD, etc.)
  • Confident in managing referrals and delivering urgent dental care
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high clinical standards
  • Availability for Saturday sessions
