Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist (or a Dental Nurse with reception experience) to join our busy front-of-house team at our modern dental practice in Worsley. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills, and can help grow the practice through outstanding customer service and sales.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing patient appointments, diaries, records and payments
  • Providing a warm, professional welcome and delivering an outstanding patient experience
  • Answering telephone and online enquiries, converting enquiries into appointments
  • Discussing treatment options, finance and membership plans with confidence
  • Keeping patient records accurate and up to date
  • Liaising closely with clinicians and the wider practice team
  • Supporting clinicians and the wider team with administrative duties
  • Promoting dental treatments, membership plans and practice services
  • Managing and creating engaging content for the practice's social media channels
  • Responding to online enquiries and helping maintain the practice's online presence
  • Assisting with practice marketing initiatives and patient events
  • Maintaining a tidy, organised reception area and ensuring efficient day-to-day running of the front desk

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Dental Nurse with reception experience
  • Sales experience is essential
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good IT skills including dental software, Microsoft Office and social media platforms
  • A friendly, professional and proactive approach
  • Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
