Job Description:

Chester dental practice is looking for a reliable and conscientious Cleaner to join our friendly dental team on a part-time basis. This role is essential in helping us maintain the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene expected within a dental practice. This position would suit someone with previous cleaning experience who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Cleaning and sanitising surgeries, decontamination areas, and clinical rooms
  • Cleaning reception, waiting areas, toilets, and staff areas
  • Emptying waste and managing clinical and non-clinical waste appropriately
  • Following infection control, health & safety, and COSHH guidelines
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and report any issues or maintenance concerns

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience (healthcare or dental setting, desirable but not essential)
  • close attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
  • Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules

Nice to have:

  • Experience cleaning in a dental, medical, or healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of infection control or COSHH procedures
