Job Responsibility:
Provide exceptional patient care through preventive and therapeutic hygiene services
Perform dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, and oral health education
Take and interpret radiographs
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure seamless patient experience
Uphold infection control and sterilization protocols
Requirements:
Current North Carolina Dental Hygiene License
Certifications preferred (but not required): Nitrous Oxide
Local Anesthetic
NC SPICE
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
Current dental hygienist license
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
CPR Certification
Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
Nice to have:
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
