Job Description:

As a clinical provider and patient advocate, you’ll be given all the resources you need to provide exceptional care, while expanding your clinical skillset. You’ll work in an environment that encourages full clinical autonomy, backed by the ability to tap into a hygiene mentor program.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide exceptional preventive dental care, including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and patient education
  • Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans that support long-term oral health
  • Build trusting relationships with patients by clearly communicating oral health needs
  • Maintain sterilization protocols and infection control standards
  • Collaborate closely with the doctor and clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented environment each day

Requirements:

  • Active Tennessee Dental Hygiene license (or in process for recent graduates)
  • Strong communication skills with an upbeat, friendly, and patient-focused approach
  • Reliable, dependable, and eager to contribute to the success of the team
  • Open to learning, feedback, and ongoing clinical development
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
  • Current dental hygienist license
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation

Nice to have:

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health

  • Check out with dental contact at facility, including review of chart notes. Leave printed copies of chart notes with facilities for patient charts
