Full-Time Dental Hygienist Needed for Energetic, Fast-Paced Madison Practice! As a clinical provider and patient advocate, you’ll be given all the resources you need to provide exceptional care, while expanding your clinical skillset. You’ll work in an environment that encourages full clinical autonomy, backed by the ability to tap into a hygiene mentor program.
Job Responsibility:
Provide high‑quality dental hygiene care including prophylaxis, SRP, periodontal maintenance, and patient education
Prepare patients for treatment and ensure a comfortable, positive experience
Take digital radiographs and intraoral photos
Review and update patient health histories
Collaborate with the doctor and clinical team to deliver top‑tier patient care
Maintain accurate, detailed clinical notes
Manage sterilization protocols and maintain operatory cleanliness
Support office flow and assist team members as needed in our fast-paced environment
Help reinforce strong patient relationships and promote recommended treatment
Requirements:
Active Alabama Dental Hygiene license (or eligibility)
Strong clinical skills and patient‑centered communication style
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced setting
Dentrix experience preferred but not required
Positive attitude, reliability, and a teamwork‑focused mindset
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
Current dental hygienist license
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
CPR Certification
Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
Nice to have:
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
