Job Responsibility:
Provide exceptional patient care, including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, radiographs, and oral health education
Deliver a high-quality, patient-focused hygiene experience that supports practice goals
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes and documentation
Utilize strong time-management skills to stay efficient in a fast-paced schedule
Collaborate with the doctor and team to ensure seamless patient flow and outstanding service
Support practice growth by educating patients, promoting treatment plans, and contributing to a positive environment
Maintain infection control standards and uphold all practice protocols
Requirements:
Active North Carolina Dental Hygiene license (or in process for new grads)
1 year of clinical experience preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work efficiently and independently
Positive, self-starting personality with a team-first approach
Experience with Dentrix, Dexis, and iTero is a plus
Current dental hygienist license
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
CPR Certification
Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
Nice to have:
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills
