Job Description:

Broadmoor Dental, in beautiful Colorado Springs, is looking for a Part Time Dental Hygienist to join our team! Established, successful 2 Doctor practice that is adding a Dental Hygienist provider to assist with their growing patient base. Job Responsibility:

  • As a clinical provider and patient advocate, you’ll be given all the resources you need to provide exceptional care, while expanding your clinical skillset
  • You’ll work in an environment that encourages full clinical autonomy, backed by the ability to tap into a hygiene mentor program

Requirements:

  • Current dental hygienist license
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment

Nice to have:

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health

  • Ensure that disposables are handled correctly before leaving facilities
  • Check out with dental contact at facility, including review of chart notes. Leave printed copies of chart notes with facilities for patient charts
