Job Responsibility:
Provide top-tier dental hygiene treatments and oral health assessments
Educate patients on preventive care and oral hygiene best practices
Collaborate with our amazing dental team to ensure top-notch patient experiences
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
A valid dental hygienist license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain one)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting patient relationships
Current dental hygienist license
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
CPR Certification
Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
Nice to have:
Experience with Dentrix software
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
