  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation
  • Supporting an efficient patient flow and collaborating with the clinical team
  • Delivering consistent, comprehensive care with a patient‑centered mindset

Requirements:

  • Active Kentucky Dental Hygienist license
  • Commitment to delivering comprehensive, high‑quality patient care
  • Humble attitude and willingness to learn and grow
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit
  • Self‑motivated, dependable, and proactive in daily responsibilities
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term patient relationships
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Nice to have:

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment

  • Ensure that OSHA safety and cleanliness regulations are followed during patient treatment
  • Ensure that disposables are handled correctly before leaving facilities
  • Check out with dental contact at facility, including review of chart notes. Leave printed copies of chart notes with facilities for patient charts
