Northway Dental is seeking a full‑time Dental Hygienist to join our welcoming and patient‑centered team. Job Responsibility:
Provide high‑quality dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and patient education
Build strong, trusting relationships with patients to support long‑term oral health
Collaborate with the doctor and team to deliver a seamless, positive patient experience
Review medical histories, chart existing conditions, and maintain accurate clinical notes
Take digital radiographs and assist in diagnosing periodontal conditions
Follow OSHA, infection control, and practice protocols to ensure a safe environment
Contribute to a positive, team‑focused environment by supporting colleagues as needed
Requirements:
Current Texas Dental Hygiene license (or eligibility upon graduation)
New graduates welcome—mentorship and support are provided
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and educate patients effectively
A positive, hardworking attitude with a commitment to teamwork and excellent patient care
Proficiency in—or willingness to learn—digital charting and modern hygiene technology
Current dental hygienist license
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
CPR Certification
Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
Nice to have:
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
