Job Description

We are a new state of the art office with a patient focused atmosphere. We are looking for a skilled Dental Assistant to join our family. Our ideal candidate would be comfortable placing supply orders, working with Dentrix, be familiar with implants, able to make a temporary crown, and overall a positive asset to our team!

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment
  • If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment

Nice to have

  • Dentrix or other dental software experience
  • Dental assisting school certification

  • Knowledge of computer and keyboard, word processing skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic PC issues
  • CPR certification obtained within 90 days of hire - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required
