Job Description:

This position plays a vital role in supporting daily operations, providing excellent administrative and patient service, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the front office.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow in a professional manner
  • Input and maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix, including updating demographics, insurance details, and treatment notes
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, and process patient billing and payments
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely and efficient patient care
  • Handle patient communications, appointment reminders, rescheduling, and day-to-day inquiries
  • Maintain and organize digital and physical files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Support other administrative tasks as needed, including inventory checks and supply ordering

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a dental office administrative/support role
  • Proficiency with Dentrix dental practice management software
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice to have:

additional dental office or administrative certification is a plus
