Job Description:

1X builds humanoid robots that work alongside people. Every demo—internal or external—must run perfectly on the first try. Own planning and execution of all robot demos at our facilities and off-site. Coordinate robots, space, people, and timeline. Deliver zero-defect events.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build and run full demo schedules: booking, shipping, setup, rehearsal, execution, teardown
  • Sync R&D, Service, Ops, and Comms on deliverables and deadlines
  • Define and enforce robot readiness, space prep, and operator checklists
  • Manage robot allocation, charging, and backup units
  • Write and rehearse demo scripts with content owners
  • Identify risks early and escalate fast
  • Run same-day debriefs and ship fixes
  • Present status in leadership reviews

Requirements:

  • 5+ yrs running high-stakes demos or product launches (tech events, trade shows, robotics showcases)
  • Hands-on robot fixer: open units, swap parts, read logs, debug SW issues in real time
  • BS in ME, EE, SW, Robotics or equiv hands-on engineering exp
