As a Demi Chef, you will play a key role in supporting your culinary section by ensuring high standards of food preparation, production, and presentation. Working closely with the Chef de Partie, Sous Chefs, and Executive Chef, you will contribute to smooth daily operations and deliver exceptional culinary experiences in line with Four Seasons standards.
Job Responsibility:
Run the daily operation of your assigned kitchen station and ensure readiness through proper mise en place
Assist in menu preparation, specials, and consistent execution of standard recipes and presentations
Support the Chef de Partie and act in their absence when required
Communicate effectively with Sous Chefs and the Executive Chef regarding production needs or shortages
Maintain a clean, organized work area while strictly following HACCP, hygiene, and safety standards
Support other culinary sections and hotel events as needed to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cook A or similar role in a 5‑star hotel environment
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and international F&B standards
Professional conduct, reliability, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Physically fit and able to work in a fast‑paced kitchen setting
Fluent English communication skills
Nice to have:
Culinary or Food & Beverage certification is an advantage
