Job Description:

An opportunity to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT, 20 min from Uluru. Work with a team of experienced chefs, fresh local ingredients, and create menus showcasing regional flavors. Part of Ayers Rock Resort.

Job Responsibility:

Undertake all kitchen and service duties including cleaning, food preparation, basic cookery, organisation and guest service
Understand and follow running sheets for setting up sections for morning and night service
Assist in supervision of junior kitchen staff
Assist in running sections in the kitchen during absence of Chef De Partie

Requirements:

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years post apprenticeship experience in a kitchen team within large restaurants, events, hotels or resorts
Experience with a la carte and buffet service
HACCP training (advantageous)
