The Demi Chef is responsible for preparing a variety of food for hotel outlets and replacing any section chefs during their absence, conducting duties in accordance with the hotel’s policies, ensuring high levels of service.

Prepare a variety of food for guests in the hotel outlets
Conduct duties courteously, safely, and efficiently
Check cleanliness and stock rotation in the kitchen
Control mise en place preparation for the next day
Ensure top-class service for guests
Assist in food requisition
Report pending problems
Train Commis chefs
Maintain knowledge of hotel menus and outlets
Minimize food wastage
Anticipate guest needs through observation
Comply with Workplace Health & Safety and company policies
