Santa Marta, located within Locke de Santa Joana in Lisbon, is our Mediterranean all-day dining restaurant — vibrant, social, and centred around seasonal ingredients and relaxed, shareable plates. We’re now looking for a passionate Demi Chef de Partie to support the kitchen team, develop their skills, and help deliver consistent, high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. If you’re ready to step up from Commis level or strengthen your foundation as a junior section chef, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow within an ambitious hospitality group.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the Chef de Partie in running a kitchen section
  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to brand standards
  • Assisting with mise en place and service preparation
  • Learning and developing technical skills across different sections
  • Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and food safety standards
  • Supporting stock rotation and minimising waste
  • Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

Requirements

  • Experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef in a quality-led kitchen
  • Passion for Mediterranean cuisine and modern dining
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to remain organised and focused during busy service
  • Positive attitude and strong team spirit
  • Fluency in English (Portuguese beneficial but not essential)
