Job Description:

At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a skilled and motivated Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) to join our Michelin-starred destination, Pelagos. This is a full-time, permanent position for a culinary professional with experience, leadership potential, and a passion for excellence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and cook food according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs, and instructions
  • Assist the Chef de Partie in establishing standard recipes and ensure compliance
  • Focus on taste, temperature, and visual appeal, ensuring uniformity and adherence to portion sizes
  • Train and supervise Commis de Cuisine and support the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie
  • Participate in product development and smooth kitchen operations
  • Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and requisitioning of ingredients
  • Maintain HACCP procedures, kitchen cleanliness, and equipment in full working order
  • Assist in preparation of room amenities and special events when required
  • Demonstrate professionalism, positive attitude, and support a high-performing kitchen team
  • Communicate regularly with Executive Chef/Restaurant Chef and contribute to menu development and food quality

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role in a luxury or fine-dining environment
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisines and Four Seasons Food Standards
  • Leadership skills and ability to mentor junior team members
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Applicants must have European Passport or the legal right to work in Greece
