We are seeking a passionate and detail oriented Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry to join our culinary team at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and maintaining the highest quality of pastry, desserts, and bakery items, ensuring consistency, creativity, and adherence to Sofitel’s luxury brand standards.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare, bake, and present a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and hotel standards
Ensure consistency, quality, and visual appeal in all items served
Assist in developing seasonal desserts, special offerings, and event specific creations
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of ingredients and equipment
Follow hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards at all times
Monitor inventory, report shortages, and support proper storage and rotation of ingredients
Assist in preparing desserts for outlets, banquets, weddings, and other events
Ensure all pastry items meet Sofitel standards for taste, quality, and presentation
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pastry production within luxury hotels, resorts, or fine dining establishments
Strong technical skills in pastries, desserts, chocolate, and bakery items
Creative, detail oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional quality
Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and occupational safety standards in a professional kitchen
Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment while maintaining consistency
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
