As a Demi Chef de Partie Arabic Cuisine, your passion for traditional flavors and modern presentation brings these stories to life delighting our guests and enriching their dining experience across breakfast, à la carte service, banquets, and special events.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in the preparation and production of authentic Arabic dishes, including hot and cold mezze, grills, rice dishes, and traditional specialties
  • Support the Chef de Partie in daily Arabic kitchen operations, ensuring consistency in flavor, quality, and presentation
  • Prepare and maintain mise en place efficiently to ensure smooth and timely service
  • Follow established recipes and presentation standards while respecting traditional cooking methods and flavors
  • Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in line with HACCP and food safety regulations
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and assist in monitoring inventory levels within the Arabic kitchen section
  • Collaborate closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure seamless execution for restaurants, banquets, and events
  • Take responsibility for your section when delegated and proactively address any operational challenges during service
  • Demonstrate initiative in developing your skills and knowledge of Arabic cuisine under the guidance of senior chefs
  • Handle guest dietary requirements and special requests with care and attention to detail, delivering personalized and culturally authentic dining experiences

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a professional Arabic or Middle Eastern kitchen, preferably within a hotel or fine dining environment
  • Culinary certification or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred
  • Strong passion for Arabic cuisine and authentic flavors, with a keen eye for presentation, taste balance, and consistency
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills to manage mise en place and service demands efficiently
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
  • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards within a professional kitchen environment
