Job Responsibility:
Assist in the preparation and production of authentic Arabic dishes, including hot and cold mezze, grills, rice dishes, and traditional specialties
Support the Chef de Partie in daily Arabic kitchen operations, ensuring consistency in flavor, quality, and presentation
Prepare and maintain mise en place efficiently to ensure smooth and timely service
Follow established recipes and presentation standards while respecting traditional cooking methods and flavors
Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in line with HACCP and food safety regulations
Ensure proper stock rotation and assist in monitoring inventory levels within the Arabic kitchen section
Collaborate closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure seamless execution for restaurants, banquets, and events
Take responsibility for your section when delegated and proactively address any operational challenges during service
Demonstrate initiative in developing your skills and knowledge of Arabic cuisine under the guidance of senior chefs
Handle guest dietary requirements and special requests with care and attention to detail, delivering personalized and culturally authentic dining experiences
Requirements:
Previous experience in a professional Arabic or Middle Eastern kitchen, preferably within a hotel or fine dining environment
Culinary certification or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred
Strong passion for Arabic cuisine and authentic flavors, with a keen eye for presentation, taste balance, and consistency
Solid organizational and time-management skills to manage mise en place and service demands efficiently
A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards within a professional kitchen environment
