ANC is looking for a Demand & Supply Planner to support medium- to long-term forecasting and capacity planning across our national network. In this role, you will be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts and capacity plans that ensure our operations can meet customer needs efficiently while supporting scalable growth. You will work across first mile, middle mile, and last mile planning, playing a key role in identifying future constraints, improving network utilisation, and enabling data-driven decision-making. Your insights will directly influence operational readiness, fleet and labour planning, and broader strategic initiatives—helping ANC continue to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Job Responsibility
Develop demand forecasts and capacity plans across a 3–12 month horizon
Develop forecasting models using historical trends, seasonality, customer growth, and key business drivers
Identify network constraints, risks and capacity gaps
Build scenario modelling to support planning decisions
Work with Operations, Commercial, Finance and Account teams to align assumptions
Support S&OP and integrated planning processes
Provide insights to support fleet, labour and network planning decisions
Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and utilisation
Contribute to continuous improvement across planning processes and tools
Requirements
3–5+ years’ experience in demand planning, transport planning, logistics, or supply chain roles
Experience in logistics, transport, FMCG, retail, eCommerce, or similar environments
Proven ability to build forecasting models and perform capacity planning
Strong understanding of integrated planning and cross-functional collaboration
Exposure to scenario modelling, data analysis, and business reporting
Exposure to planning systems, optimisation tools, or forecasting platforms
Advanced Excel and data modelling skills
Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate insights into actions
Solid understanding of forecasting methodologies and transport/logistics operations
Forward-thinking with a strong continuous improvement mindset
Commercially aware with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Collaborative and able to work effectively across teams
Proactive in identifying risks and opportunities
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Calm and composed under pressure with strong prioritisation skills
