Job Description

Find your purpose at Unilever. You will sit in the middle of S&OP Process for Distributive Trade, where you will work closely with our customer development, marketing, and sourcing unit teams to build an integrated volume and sales plan, you will coordinate the delivery of the results and make shifts on the forecast based on consumption or business need changes, and hence will manage all downstream supply chain operations. If you are an expert in communication, willing to guide related stakeholders to grow our business together and ready to be owner of short/mid/long-term forecasting by your analytical thinking aspects, then this role is just for you.

Job Responsibility

  • Generation of volume and value forecasting through executing the demand planning components of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for DT channel
  • To understand past and future assumptions, risks, and opportunities, and clean the sales data and build base forecast while keeping track of sales and marketing activity logs
  • To understand and apply statistical models, depending on historical patterns and horizons using exception-based planning
  • To lead the development and facilitates the deployment of new capabilities in Demand Planning such as improvements on S&OP processes and digitalization of the forecasting and E2E S&OP for DT channel
  • To manage inventory while ensuring maximum service level & availability for distributor warehouses
  • To support and work with the Distributive Trade Regional leadership team, providing E2E supply chain business partnership
  • To provide insights on SC Demand Planning performance to the Planning Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations / Logistics / Business / Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Operational experience in a planning environment is preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management experience is preferred
  • Challenging the status quo and pushing the limits within SC and business operation of the Personal Care category
  • Collaboration catalyst
  • Solution generation expertise and out of the box thinking
  • Strong leadership skills for proactive management and communication of business opportunities and risks
