Our client is a global leader in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector, recognized for their iconic brands and extensive market reach. They are currently seeking a strategic and data-driven Demand Planning Manager to join their supply chain team and spearhead forecasting excellence during a phase of rapid market expansion.
Job Responsibility:
Developing and maintaining high-quality demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons
Leading the monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process to align market intelligence with financial goals and supply capabilities
Utilizing historical data and statistical modeling to provide strategic solutions for demand volatility
Managing inventory health by identifying risks of obsolescence and recommending proactive clearance or promotion strategies
Collaborating with Marketing and Sales teams to incorporate promotional plans and new product introductions into the forecast
Monitoring and reporting on Forecast Accuracy (FA) and Bias, performing root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Business, or a related field
At least 8 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain, specifically within the FMCG industry
Strong technical proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/Demand Planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or APO)
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills to influence cross-functional teams
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage tight timelines in a high-volume environment
