Job Description

Office Angels are proud to be supporting this global business in their search for a Demand Planner. This is a temporary contract starting immediately for at least 6 months, however there could be career opportunities for the right candidate. You will be based in bright, open plan, ultra modern offices in rural Maidstone with free parking on site.

Job Responsibility

  • Verify actuals, Review short term supply entries and forecasts
  • Add site stock into the availability website and refresh availability data
  • Share report to business with UK availability
  • Review calculated stock reports, comparing forecasted vs. actual and investigating variances
  • Allocate supply to demand (S&D) using the appropriate software, restrictions and inputs from PBM, Master Planners, identifies gaps or risks to coordinate adjustments in order to increase meeting S&OP objectives
  • Coordinates daily distribution planning relating to order preparation and hard allocation of Sales
  • Develops and manages processes to effectively align master schedules to execute customer order requirements
  • If suppliers cannot fulfil orders, update the plan and inform Master Planning immediately
  • Call supliers to move stock when requested by PBM, or Master Planning
  • Acts as a S&OP communication hub to the business (Operations, Stock Forecast, Master Scheduling, Logistics)
  • Action stock movements in ERP system accordingly
  • Perform distribution point allocation in the appropriate software
  • Request and enquire about Day-on-day deliveries and specials requested from suppliers when required, Inform Transport of any requests
  • Ensure all system inputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with operational requirements
  • Drives efficiency through continuous improvement and process development with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Have experience in Supply Chain, Supply Planning, Demand Planning
  • Are confident working in a fast paced operational environment
  • Can be flexible to work every other weekend and shifts as needed
