The Senior Demand Planner goes beyond traditional forecasting. In this pivotal role, will be the critical link between our key customers' point-of-sale data and our internal supply chain execution. It will not only own the demand plan for your assigned portfolio but will also actively engage with key account customers to understand their unique sell-out dynamics, collaborate on building tailored inventory and replenishment strategies, and ensure our sales orders are a true reflection of a shared, actionable plan. Its work will directly drive commercial success, optimize inventory investment, and strengthen our customer partnerships.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain an unbiased, statistically driven baseline forecast
Lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) demand review process
Integrate commercial intelligence, promotion plans, new product introductions, and marketing events into the consensus demand plan
Monitor forecast accuracy and bias
Keep all data updated in OMP
Proactively engage with key account managers and customer replenishment/planning teams
Analyze customer-specific Point-of-Sale (POS)/sell-out data, inventory levels, and weeks of supply
Build collaborative inventory and replenishment strategies for key accounts
Translate customer plans, promotions, and events into a precise and aligned demand signal
Serve as the primary planning contact for critical customer discussions
Ensure the demand plan is accurately reflected in sales orders and purchase orders
Work closely with the Sales and Customer Service teams to validate large or non-standard orders
Provide input on order feasibility and timing
Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
Supports implementation of different tools
Supports portfolio reviews with PLM
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or similar technical discipline
5+ years of experience as a Demand planner
Advanced Excel and Power BI knowledge
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Good presentation & data visualization skills
Strong collaboration skills
Demonstrated proficiency in forecasting methods
Good understanding of S&OP processes in an international business environment
Solid knowledge in SAP
Fluent English - spoken and written
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Proactive with positive, constructive attitude
Nice to have:
Experience in OMP OPR is an advantage
Partially from lubricants or automotive aftermarket business
