You will assist in all demand planning duties including estimating future product demand, analysing inventory flow, and developing forecast models.
Job Responsibility:
Utilise advanced forecasting techniques and demand planning software to model demand variability and uncertainty to create a robust picture of future demand
Monitor forecast and safety stock levels and adjust accordingly
Review item forecasts for new, existing and discontinued SKUs
Develop plans for maintaining inventory levels, including determining how much inventory should be kept on hand and anticipate potential shortages
Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
Provide actionable data analysis to support business cases for demand plans using data-driven methods
Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
Conduct monthly forecast maintenance
Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or related field
Relative experience of developing accurate demand forecasts and managing inventory effectively
Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (formulas, data manipulation and data summarising)
Highly effective communication skills with the ability to present complex data and insights to stakeholders
Nice to have:
Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in supply chain, engineering, business administration, or equivalent experience
Analytical skills with proficiency in statistical modelling and demand planning software (such as ERP, SQL, SAP)
Working knowledge of SI&OP (Sales Inventory and Operations Planning) processes and tools
Certifications such as IBF, APICS CPIM, CSCP are highly desirable
