This is a 6-months full-time internship opportunity in 2026 July-December. Applicants to this internship opportunity will need the work authorization for Malaysia. Interns will be based in our Singapore office, and will be assigned to our ASEAN Cloud Sales Center (CSC) function. The CSC is the Inside Sales organization of AWS and is focused on new customer acquisitions across ASEAN at scale. You will have the exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally and cross-geographically, as you collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, operations, partner, and marketing teams, while being part of an entirely new concept at AWS. As an intern, experience what it is like as a Demand Generation Rep here at AWS. You will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology in this region. You will be the frontline for our customers in their new/early stage of cloud adoption, and connect their key stakeholders to AWS. You will actively identify and hunt key decision makers from target customers and leverage lead sources from various AWS marketing, sales, and external databases and help the customers start their transformational journey. You will profile, nurture and qualify customer leads by understanding their business issues and proposing solutions to their problems with AWS services. You will also complete a sales-related project which would benefit customers and Partners, while gaining and leveraging exposure to cloud services.

Job Responsibility

  • Acquire new customer contacts, earn trust and engage with customers mainly through calls
  • Qualify and create a sales funnel of opportunities and track in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Educate customers on AWS products/services & evangelize key wins
  • Collaborate with Cloud Sales Representatives (CSR) and Solution Architects (SA)
  • Collaborate with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
  • Evangelize customer success stories

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or above
  • Able to commit to a 6-months full-time internship in 2026
  • Expected graduation from Dec 2026 to Aug 2027
  • Candidates must be able to legally work in Malaysia
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

  • Professional fluency in Vietnamese language is highly preferred
  • Effective writing and speaking communication skills to engage with customers (through emails, phone calls, etc.) and internal stakeholders/other teams
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use Excel to provide data, and present recommendations and insights from that data
