Join Nestlé Health Science and be part of a team that drives excellence in Demand and Supply Planning. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to learn and contribute to processes that ensure product availability, optimize inventory, and support efficient supply chain operations. You’ll gain hands-on experience in planning, and process optimization while working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. This 10 week internship will immerse you in Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), Detailed Production Scheduling (DPS), and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) processes. You will help evaluate and implement planning standards, Develop Health checks, monitor KPIs, and contribute to process optimization projects that shape the future of Nestlé’s supply chain.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in evaluating and implementing best practices in Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), Detailed Production Scheduling (DPS), and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) processes
  • Support the development and monitoring of Standard KPIs and Health Checks, including: Inventory health, Production adherence, Waste risk
  • Bulk Planning Process Review and Health Checks
  • Collaborate with IT and planning teams to implement Nestlé planning standards and solutions
  • Contribute to process optimization initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for automation
  • Help evaluate and support implementation of supply planning solutions and tools to streamline planning processes
  • Participate in innovation projects and deployment of center-driven initiatives to enhance supply chain capabilities
  • Other responsibilities for other topics as assigned

Requirements:

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or other related field is required
  • Coursework in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related fields is preferred
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communicator with demonstrated skills in collaboration and team leadership
  • Strong Excel and Power Point skills are ideal
  • A self-starter with strong research and project management skills

Nice to have:

  • Prior exposure to supply chain or planning concepts is a plus
  • Familiarity with SAP or planning tools is a plus
  • Degree completed by June 2027, preferred
