The Demand and supply Planner is responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations, including planning, manufacturing, optimizing inventory levels, with a strong focus on managing third-party contract manufacturing (CM) global relationships. This role ensures operational excellence, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery of products while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage all operational aspects including supply planning and production
Oversee contract manufacturing partners: performance management, cost negotiation, and production planning
Partner with the sales teams, to ensure the demand process delivers an agreed and workable sales forecast, identifying incremental demand, ensuring gaps and overlaps are addressed, different scenarios being evaluated, and issues appropriately escalated to meet business objectives
Develop and implement strategies and BI tools to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards across all manufacturing partners
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams
Identify and mitigate operational risks, bottlenecks, and supply disruptions
Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
Manage operational budgets, KPIs, and reporting metrics
Support new product launches and scale-up activities with CMs
Evaluate and onboard new manufacturing partners as needed
Requirements:
B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering – A Must
2-3 years of relevant experience
Proven leadership skills in a matrix environment
Very strong analytical skills
Organized and efficient, capable of performing well with multiple priorities and interfaces and constructive challenge stakeholders
Customer-oriented proactive attitude takes initiative, creates an achievement environment
Process-oriented mindset to manage complexity and changes
Anticipates and plans for potential risks
develops corresponding contingency plans
Good communication skills
ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority, build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments and all levels
Strong background in contract manufacturing, supply chain management, and operations
Excellent negotiation, project management, and communication skills
Proficiency with ERP systems and supply chain tools
