The Demand and Supply planner is responsible / accountable for the overall demand and supply management process for Pyxis products as it relates to demand allocation. This position owns the allocation process driven by global material constraints and transportation challenges. Works closely with Production, Planning, and Implementation teams to ensure alignment to meeting customer requirements.

Tracks and monitors changes to manufacturing and CTB (clear to build) dates for alignment in providing reasonable delivery dates
Communication to key stakeholders on any significant change in delivery dates, cause for delay, and estimated recovery date
Works directly with PM’s on status of orders and prioritizing orders at risk of missing installation timeline
Short term planning activities with our manufacturing partners, develop supply plans to drive capacity and materials to support internal and external manufacturing
Manage exceptions caused by significant, unexpected events in sales, operations and procurement
Identify and report on any significant variances between forecasted sales and the organization’s budget and business plan
Key contributor to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
Support regional Demand and Supply Consensus and Review meetings
Develop analysis and reports related to inventory level projections, recovery plans, capacity requirements, performance metrics, etc. as required
Maintain alignment of inventory levels to achieve targeted service levels, backorder incidence/duration and DIO. Identifies and pursues inventory reduction opportunities. Directs the periodic review and disposition of slow moving and unproductive inventories (Excess & Obsolete, Unscheduled, Expired, cancelled/residual Test & Holds etc.)
Input for managing Finished Goods and Raw Material to meet inventory targets and DIOH for the region
Key owner of the back order and order fulfillment metrics
Evolve and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand supply allocation planning processes and systems
Requirements:
Extensive experience with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of integrated Supply Chain Systems (e.g. SAP ECC, MRP)
Minimum of 5 years analytics and/or planning experience required
APICS CPIM certification and SAP knowledge preferred
Knowledge and awareness of Lean techniques and Six Sigma a plus
Proficiency with statistical and forecasting method
Solid knowledge of Supply Chain procedures (Demand/Supply/Production Planning, capacity leveling, product deployment and inventory control)
Experience in a manufacturing environment coordinating multi-discipline activities
Proven ability to effectively interact with multi-functional areas (Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, Quality, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation are required
Detail-oriented individual with a strong ability to multi-task
Familiarity with an ERP and MRP systems and common software applications a must
Advanced Excel skills
Skills in project management, including the use of Microsoft Project or other common project management software
BA/BS in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Supply Chain Management or related degree
Nice to have:
APICS CPIM certification and SAP knowledge
Knowledge and awareness of Lean techniques and Six Sigma
