Job Description

Our client, located in Springfield, OH, is currently in need of a Dell Server Engineer for a 6 month contract. The consultant will work onsite in support of the physical deployment, configuration and support of Dell PowerEdge servers.

Job Responsibility

  • Support day to day server data center activities
  • LOIS parts management
  • Provide infrastructure support, guidance and stability throughout the server operations
  • LOIS parts management (will be trained on)
  • Maintain documentation of the environment
  • Coordinate customer cooling, power, containment, etc maintenance activities
  • Perform BIOS lifecycle mgmt.
  • Triage issues and tickets with Dell support

Requirements

  • Ability to work onsite daily in Springfield, OH
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Hands-on experience with Dell PowerEdge Rack/Tower servers
  • Experience with Dell OpenManage Enterprise
  • Will need to complete Dell XE Server training modules prior to starting the project
