Requirements

Valid AZ or DZ license with a clean, current driver abstract (no more than 3 demerits)
Minimum 2 years of heavy truck driving experience—delivery experience preferred
Able to repeatedly lift and move heavy product (up to 50 lbs) throughout your shift
Must be comfortable working in cold and warm environments
Working smartphone and willingness to use it for work
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
Criminal background check (required upon hiring)

Job Responsibility

Delivering a variety of products directly into customer retail store locations throughout the GTA
Physically handling and unloading freight using tailgates, hand carts, and dollies (no ramps)
Completing 10-hour shifts, four/five shifts per week
Operating company-owned tandem axle trucks (automatic transmission)
Maintaining accurate logs and completing pre/post-trip inspections
Building positive relationships with store staff while maintaining a high level of customer service

Touch freight – may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly

Job Responsibility

Responsible for the storage and movement of materials and finished goods including: Shipping and receiving
Warehousing
Order filling, picking, and packing
Inventory control and records management
Dispatch
Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes
Analyzing and projecting transportation costs
Coordinating customs clearances and permits
Maintaining, loading, packing, and driving vehicles
Evaluating, selecting, and managing ongoing relationships with external transport providers (e.g., fuel suppliers, trucking/shipping companies, etc.)
